Rod understands that planning for the loss or disability of a loved one is a taxing experience. He uses more than 40 years of experience in estate planning to help families with end-of-life decisions.

Rod is one of a select few attorneys certified as an Elder Law Attorney through the National Elder Law Foundation. He understands the unique needs of the elderly, disabled and the families who care for them and is able to navigate the myriad of federal and state benefits available to seniors, including Veterans’, Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid benefits

Rod prioritizes each client’s individuality. He listens closely to his client’s goals and tailors comprehensive estate plans to their unique personal and economic needs. Rod has experience drafting wills, trusts, special needs trusts, asset protection trusts, durable powers of attorney and related documents to communicate each client’s personal decision.

He utilizes his tax law training to craft tax-advantageous estate plans that provide asset protection to beneficiaries. He works closely with high net worth families to optimize wealth management and preservation. He also has experience advising in charitable giving techniques and establishing family foundations.
